The team structure at COREengineering is aligned with the principle of The Golden Circle. We focus on the controlling abilities and differentiate them from the delivery structures, since the code production is now a commodity and the ability of code production management ensures a higher value contribution.
The team is comprised of experienced program managers, senior developers, IT architects, test managers, and business analysts whose joint capability is the overarching control of end-to-end requirements and implementing activities.
The COREengineering team is made up individuals who are among the best in their field internationally, regarded as opinion leaders in their community, and are sought-after contacts for our clients. Together with project partners in research and the industry, they are developing new methods and cooperating with colleagues from CORE institutes.
At COREengineering, we define leadership through competence, empathy and being results orientation. Multiple challenges such as the analysis of professional requirements, design of software and system architectures, operations, implementation, test and deployment, are harmonised with the identification of necessary skills. The combination of complementary characters and moderation of divergent expectations, places the highest demands on leadership competence. Since CORE is largely a flat hierarchy, every executive is challenged of their competence to resolve demands constructively - "Competence leads".

The Scrum Master works closely together with the development teams. They run the scrum process and checks its compliance, as well as moderate the software development teams. A key competency lies in the moderation of the conflicting requirements of management, specialist pages and implementation partners. The strict focus on end products that can be implemented in finite time with limited budgets is a determining factor of commitment.
Dr. Enrico Rizzo

Business Analysts usually perform a role in our clients’ organisations. We often fill this role with a fixed end date in order to bring in market knowledge or absorb peaks in demand. The primary work of business analysts is to analyse the information for consistency and completeness, to structure it and to document it. They form an independent link between the management and the specialist departments of our clients and IT colleagues.
As a Transformation Manager at CORE, Inna contributes her extensive experience of projects in IT strategy development concepts for our clients. She also acts as a point of contact when creating analyses and bases for decision-making, with the public sector in particular. She completed her Masters degree in Business Administration focusing on business informatics and marketing management. Inna gained initial professional experience in different business consultancies, in the areas of planning, reporting and monitoring.
IT Architects consider all static and dynamic aspects of IT in our clients’ organisations and attempt to change these as part of our development assignments.
These include infrastructure (hardware, locations, networks), software (applications), technologies, interfaces, IT-supported functions and processes and the associated architecture management (configuration and capacity planning, load sharing, data security, availability, fail-safe operation, disaster planning etc.).

Project leaders are responsible for the operational planning and management of software development projects for our clients. Depending on the type of project, they are responsible for achieving the functional, time-related and budgetary targets in our client projects. In the area of planning, they specify targets and the resources required to achieve them, and coordinate the management of resources in order to make the necessary skills available.
Jan Casoli is a Transformation Manager at CORE. He has introduced his experience in the design of software implementations at CORE, especially at a large retail bank as well as at a biotechnology company specialized in gene analysis. He has also experience in strategic outsourcing and corporate banking, which he employs for complex digital transformations in the banking and biotechnology industry at CORE.
Program Managers safeguard the design planning, overall leadership and controlling of a defined number of software development projects with related content over a set period of time. They establish the program targets in terms of time, function and budget.
Generally, program managers have a high degree of methodological and technological skill and demonstrate exceptional capabilities in two respects: they have a high level of empathy and considerable implementation potential based on personal integrity.
